I maybe wrong and one of the lads could confirm but wasn't it okayd then later vetod?.I fully agreed with the sentiment if it, but it wasn't a good display. It would never be approved.

Didn’t hear the mags until it was 0-2 & I was right next to them. The fans were superb from before the start to finish today.
The mags fans were surprisingly quiet until it looked like they were going to walk it.

The sports washing one was never ever gonna fly.
You did .. well done to allThe fans were amazing. The volunteers were amazing. The display looked amazing (in our opinion)
We’ve done everything we can. We’ve taken enough of a battering from our own fans. We’re done.
Thank you for all your support. Fuck the mags.
Goodnight.
I think pro Sunderland was always the way to go. The sports washing one was never ever gonna fly.
I appreciate the time and effort So37 have gone through - fair play to them all. I admit I'm ignorant to the work required and the processes you go through. I think most average fans probably just assume the club puts these cards and 'bin liners' in place. Many away from these boards and social media won't even know they exist. I know me father doesn't, and he's been going to games long before we had chevrons on the shirt @DonaldDownTheWing. I've learned more about So37 this morning from @Doberman's posts than I have the entire time they've been operating.
If I could level one real criticism at them, it's that it's a bit of a closed shop. They ask for donations on here, but won't let on what the designs are. I appreciate ya can't please everyone, and there's time constraints, but when I asked what the display would be I was told it was a surprise. And then people get salty when ya say ya didn't twig the significance of the silver chevrons. There's three groups of us in our WhatsApp group in various parts of the ground, all old enough to have had Hummel strips, and none of us got it. And whose idea the Sheff Utd badge was a coupe of seasons ago I'll never know.
All I'm really trying to say is a little more fan engagement over design at the design stage may have prevented some of the criticisms after the event.
Still, well done, and if it's over it will be a miss.
You don't need to respond the him , he hasn't given any time, effort or thought into it just griping from afar .. well done to you all ...You can’t buy white in the metallic flags. Groups around Europe use silver. It’s been done for years.
'Cos the club cannot back that kind of statement. We'd end up in court. Why not ?
They are sportswashed, it's a fact
Fair enough. Again, I'm learning. This is all stuff the average fan 8s blissfully unaware of.I don't think i've added anything into this thread that hasn't been discussed over and over again on here.
There's not a single group on the planet that opens up to the floor on designs. It's not feasible. There's no time to waste going back and forth with thousands of people. We've got a team of volunteers (in a whatsapp group), have had a Telegram channel of over 100 people since the draw was made and our own Whatsapp group. I left all those groups as a result of the club's interference last season and only rejoined the lads to help with this display but three groups consisting of over 150+ is more engagement than any tifo group on the planet is likely to give out. These things don't have the "wow" factor if everyone on the planet has seen what's planned before it happens. I don't think it's unfair that the lads that are spending hours and hours on dealing with suppliers, dealing with the club (), mapping out potential ideas on excel, organising teams of 100s of people, organising deliveries to the stadium, taking time off work to put everything out etc etc get to decide what we're going to do.
Take Tuesday for instance. I spent the entire day (9am - 6.30pm) at my mate's flat in Sunderland drawing letters onto material and carefully cutting them out. We were expecting a delivery of 39,800 items to the SOL and had people on standby all day to drop everything and race over when we got an arrival time. Material eventually arrived at 4.30pm which was later than expected so the group that had planned to receive the delivery had to change and someone else volunteered to jump on the bus and get there instead. They then spent over an hour moving the material off the palet and shipping it off to all corners of the ground ready for the following day. That's one day's activities from 6 years of doing this.
The day arrives after close to 20 hours graft for members of the group and volunteers and the reaction from some is "£17k for that?!"
Well done, a magnificent effort by fans engaged enough to grab the opportunity and show such commitment. You'll always have people sitting on the side-lines ready to criticise. Don't take the negative to heart.I don't think i've added anything into this thread that hasn't been discussed over and over again on here.

Slander? Libel? Words I never heard in the bible?Under what charge?
If the sign simply said 'sportswashing' .
Who could take the club to court?
