He's virtually guaranteed a start in the attacking midfield / 10 role and I've seen very little suggesting he can play it. Maybe if we had a striker ahead linking play so he could ghost past, but in general play he has good feet, but doesn't really do that much in terms of attacking contributions.
Probably more suited to playing as one of two number 8s with a striker ahead.

Problems aren't just up top. A team that's let in this many goals and scored so few have had the best chances without argument. Our defence can be just as weak as our attack.

Very slow in possession as Rotherham are doing a decent job in blocking the passing lanes forward. But the back four all need to step up the tempo and move the ball faster.
I said on another thread the other day how important Roberts is to receive the first real pass out of the back line and threaten forward, moving their units, and we’ve seen just how important.
Beale has to have seen the issues and the solutions - runners over the top - so be interesting to see how long he takes to shift things.
