Ross Stewart

Gutted for the lad. Loved watching him. Buzzing for him he managed to get his bumper contract. 30k a week for 3 years (can’t remeber if it was 4 years)…. 4.5 million. It’s basically a lottery win.

Get well soon but if he doesn’t he’s safe in the knowledge he’ll never has to work a day again in his life.

Thnk fk for his sake he left his 3k a week contract
I mean. If he’d signed a new deal in 2022 he’d have been on way more than £3k but fair he’s set himself up

we sold him on deadline day
Mad how much this we didn't replace him narrative has been trotted out.

Nobody sat here saying the 4 strikes we've got have been on the money(yes two signed on deadline day). But like if the move to Soton happened we'd have been sat waiting for him to get fit and be raging right now.

No doubt saying why didn't see sign Rusyn and Mayenda knowing Stewart was crocked.

Poor lad. Good enough to play in the prem, shame injuries have taken a toll, but a big part of our recovery from the lowest point in our history. And a big profit too…

Shows what a great decision by Ross and his advisors to hold out and ultimately end up with a 3 year 20k a week contract. He's set up for life now, even if he never kicks a ball again.

We were lucky Southampton had such a bad start to the season and were desperate on August 31st.

Grow up.

If someone offered to increase your salary 8-fold with a guaranteed 3 year contract, you’d have done exactly the same as RS did.

We were lucky, RS was very unlucky. I hope he makes a full recovery.
As do most by the look of things
Thankfully
