Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

Don't understand what's funny that I'd rather the lads spend 15k on banners that they can re-use rather than a one about them. Wouldn't waste a penny on them.
Aye but then again you're a mag.
We wouldn't want your money
It’s almost like the club want to undermine SO37, cause skepticism within the fanbase until the lads pack in…

Spineless, pathetic rats.
That is exactly it
they've fucked up a lot today but the club aren't wrong here like. as brilliant as it would have been they just can't be associated with providing a platform for that kind of messaging. it's a PR nightmare and could cause allkinds of kickback from sponsors etc

the issue is whichever knacker originally said it was okay and f***ing the lads sorting it about. if that's what happened. as I just can't see how it ever going to be allowed. sounds like someone has made a fuck up (shock) agreeing to it and when it's been ran by the people that actually make the decisions they've obviously said you can't do it

don't blame them one bit for jacking the whole thing in. i assumed it was just the filth trying to wind them up on twitter etc but had a look earlier and the amount of supposed Sunderland fans accusing them of pocketing the donations is lifting

hopefully they go out with a bang with what they can salvage from this
Davison, KLD gave approval, then added a caveat/request. Then withdrew approval

More needs to be made of this, I've spent so much time on the shitty threads about tickets and Beale I didn't even see the club is also f***ing the so37 lads about AGAIN!!! While sucking blood money dicks. f***ing pathetic by the owner he's a little spoilt silver spooned brat who hasn't got a clue what this game means. He can go get fucked for me like just tipped me over the edge that.

When you go to war you don’t tell the enemy your plans, could the banner design not have been kept from the powers that be and only seen when it was unfurled on matchday?

If they are not doing anymore displays, why not take no notice of the club and go out with a bang.
Materials already ordered (due to deadlines and time constraints)

That was considered, but it would have been seen as it was put out anyway

The banner was tremendous tbf.
Why not just celebrate SAFC? Fans can take in their individual signs etc that slag off Newcastle ownership if they want, but the club are not going to sign off anything like that are they? Also the Sports Direct thing makes no sense? And aside from that it just looks crap.

It makes loads of sense, you obviously just don't get it. They wanted rid of Mike Ashley citing moral reasons and ended up clamouring for this...

Really good banner..in my view not strong enough

We will have done that too and do that every display. But this was a one chance to voice our view and say what everyone else seems scared to be saying regarding their ownership.

The sports direct thing is very clever. They were willing to protest their previous owner who owned said company. Now owned by a group far worse they're silent. It' works really well.

And it didn't look crap.

But keep up being happy at the support being silenced.by the club.
