Spirit of 37 - display v Newcastle

Honestly, have the Saudis paid the club off so they get everything their own way? 🤢

That banner is stating reality it's not particularly controversial, it's not offensive unless the truth is too much for the mags to handle. There's nothing that makes our fans or club look bad.

Must’ve pressed a wrong button…

You should 100% raise this with national media - explain who you are, what you planned to do and the fact that SAFC silenced its own supporters.

There’s no way that a number of outlets wouldn’t run that story. The Athletic and the Guardian would 100% run it for a start.

See above.

But, as I said, I trust the board more than people moaning. It’ll be a class day. If I had to move seats for one game, I’d do it, no issues.

The reactions on here are disgusting! 🤢

Yep, very sure.

😂

I don’t sit in the north, but if I did and I knew I was going to have one of those gravy stained bastards in it I’d want it fumigated after the game.

On top of that, they can’t buy tickets in the first phase, so they are being shat on twice.

The club is laughing at the fans, simple as that.

Only anti Newcastle if they have a guilty conscience
Correct. It’s not anti-Newcastle. There is clear subtext but

Good shout

Design looks great. Shameful from the club. That we can’t protest against a geopolitical tool of a despotic regime is tough to take.

As we can’t do it on a full stadium scale, it would be great if people put together their own banners and signs. Upside of these is they can be held up at throw ins and corners and be shoved right down the throat of the TV cameras.

I’d personally also love if it people brought along fake bank notes. Could literally just be green bits of paper with a a few words on them. ‘Saudi Blood Money’, or similar. Get wads of them dispersed around the ground and rain them down on corner takers and Howe himself throughout the game. Again, cameras will have to pick that up.

I’d be absolutely gutted if we didn’t use this game to send a message to the rest of the country that Newcastle United has sold its soul and is no more. I hate the fact that by playing them we’re actually give credence to their whole operation. The least we can try and do is give the game some worth.

Fantastic idea

If we knew on Tuesday when we ordered what we knew now, we would have.

I don’t think any of us believed they’d give them 6000 tickets and appoint Michael Beale in the same day.
Mad I'm sitting here on a Friday night absolutely hating the club I support.

Dunno what's worse, the fact I'm that arsed about it all or the fact or the disdain shown towards us.

Firstly, they’ve already likely sat in your seat in one of the many concerts. Not an issue, let’s be honest!

Secondly, they are still guaranteed a seat. Nothing to be concerned about.
