It's absolutely crazy like, just people who have no clue what they're talking about taking shots at some lads who are doing their best.

I mean, aye, they changed the target. Fuck me, that happens with loads of fund raisers. They have a minimum target and, if they reach it, they keep it going and extend the target as they'll be able to do a bigger/ more elaborate display if they raise more.

It's so obvious, and so simple. There'd be no point them starting it at a 45k target. People would see it sat at £3000 or something and think it's not worth donating because they're unlikely to reach the target. Can't set it at £15000 and keep it there because if you do, people will see it past £15k and think there's no need to donate because it's job done as far as they're concerned. So the obvious thing to do is to do an initial target and stretch it as they go.

Twitter, or x or whatever, is an absolute cesspit of clueless knackers who have an opinion on everything and an understanding of nowt.

That question makes no sense for a variety of reasons...firstly we had different owners prior to 2021. Secondly I have not defended Saudi at all at any point in history if that was some point you were attempting to make.

It’s really simple, Sunderland have some big sponsors. Sponsorship is a very sensitive thing for any brand. Sponsors are very keen not to deviate from 100% vanilla with their association. Hence, no FTM. Nothing whatsoever to do with a club employee being a supporter of another club.

See Celtic and the GB issues at the moment. Not the board or management. It’s adidas, JD Sports.
