If most other clubs spent £55m on a player and he couldn’t play they would be fucked for years. The mags unlimited funds makes it a small inconvenience.

They will never understand what a difference that makes.
 
If it came to a choice of winning 2 out of the 3, Id rather win against Man City and Liverpool the week before and after than a 3rd round cup tie. The league is way more important if we have Champions League aspirations again. Which we do.

But, Mate what I'm trying to get at is, do you not think we'd have a better chance with more of an experienced (27-28) 4 or 5 quality players mixed in with the young lads. That's all I'm saying. You seen the capitulation against Boro after the red card, in my eyes that's down to inexperienced youth.

It's a cup game, owt could happen. Whoever loses can lick their wounds and focus on the league run-in.

I'll defo put a bit of money on Sunderland if the odds are daft enough.

Terrible time to play us, a one off game, pressure all on them.

We'll win 2-1. Mags will have all their bad luck that they should have had in the last two years, all come to fruition for 90 mins. We'll get dominated but nick it in the last minute. It'll be a controversial, ill tempered match, an FA Cup classic for the neutrals.

We'll then lose the next league game and end up finishing the season 10th place. It'll have been a poor season.

But we'll have had our day to remember. ;)

Not one person on here believes the bit about not beating us. You do have champions league aspirations that much is clear. But little old us have your fans attention from now until the end of time and you would take 2 scuddings off them to beat us even 1nowt man
