Drawn at home to Mags in FA Cup

Nothing sensible about it, it's not as simple as just stick them in those seats is it?
Of course it is. As it stands there’s no tickets sold, so no fans will need to be relocated, there’s already a natural barrier where the fan zone was. Just don’t release the season tickets for sale for that corner.

Much easier to police as they would go straight from St. Peter’s and into the corner turnstiles instead of having to create a divide in tunnel where the away turnstiles usually are.

Less chance of any innocent fans being hit with missiles from above and also will be able to sell 100% of the concourse instead of having to keep the front free.

Derbies are different marra -yes it’s not a level playing field anymore with the millions they have spent but I would think we will be up for a David v Goliath
All the pressure is on one team and it ain’t us thankfully ….

There’s huge pressure on SAFC. You have to try and compete against a top quality side in front of a demanding crowd.
The pressure is firmly on to not just put a shift in but to try and match quality which will be difficult given the big gulf.
Thinking there’s no pressure is massively complacent and you should be really hopeful that the manager and team aren’t thinking the same. I’d be amazed if they were though.

Rumour has it Adam Pearson is going under cover amongst our lot. Look out for a virgin shouting for thunderland whilst eating cheesy chips and blue pop in the South Stand.

Free hit. The worry is it gets embarrassing as we have that in us but if they get a narrow win so fuck. Just go out and give them a game. BUT like I say this lot have the backbone of a jellyfish when it goes against us so there’s a small chance the 9-1 away win is in jeopardy 😂😬

Fully expect to lose like.

Interesting one for them though. Do they risk fielding a strong 11 when the squad is already pretty threadbare? Will be very high tempo and fiesty. At the same time they haven't beaten us in what around the last 8 so will be desperate for a win.

If they name a strong side I fully expect a pretty comfortable defeat for us.

Course it’s the biggest game of the season. To me it’s bigger than any champions league game.
Equally it’s comfortably your biggest game of the season.
But it should be as routine a win as is possible? It's obviously big but surely it's less so than in the last because the clubs are so far apart now

Far from it for us, if and we somehow get into the play offs they are much bigger games. Since the saudi regime we are no longer on a level playing field and its now not the Newcastle Utd we once knew, its an oil ran despicable club who have sold their soul, shameful to think we are from the same region and will see fans dressed up as saudis in the away end

Mixed emotions about this one; fear, anticipation, dread, mild excitement ...

Free hit really though, I just hope our form has improved by then!
As I keep posting, this will be their biggest game of the season. They will of course deny it, but beating us will be at the top of their list of things to do
This, as emphasised by the headline on the Evening Chronicle's website 'Newcastle United land dream draw at Sunderland away in FA Cup third round'.

I’ve already seen people on social media say they’ll kick off if Howe plays a weakened side

It’s taken a £300m takeover and £350,000,000 worth of players to beat us for the first time in over a decade.

Between now and the match, they will build the game up to such levels, it will just be ridiculous. It won’t just be the plastic lot either.

The first thing they will have ago about is their allocation. You will hear “the mackems are terrified” nonsense when they realise they have less than 3000. They will then fixate on which players will be fit
