Yann M'vila - target or not?

“Sunderland are the most prestigious club in the north east of England it would be a great honour to play for the mackem wizards”

My two penn'orth;

He was a top player and professional; his physical strength, impressive work rate and stamina really set him apart.

I remember him being sent off on his first appearance in an under-21 match (I think against Norwich?) for a head-butt on an opponent, his first (and only) goal - a long range free-kick at Aston Villa and being named man of the match following a virtuoso display in a 3-0 home victory in the derby.

I know that he expressed his desire to stay at Sunderland on a permanent basis following his season long loan when we avoided relegation and that he was so very frustrated when the club subsequently rejected the opportunity to sign him during the 2016 summer transfer window.

I personally wouldn't be adverse to the idea of him returning if a deal could be done that suited both parties as I believe that he would be a positive influence both on and off the field. He would provide experience and leadership in an area that we are currently lacking.

I know for a fact you had me on ignore at one point (I genuinely don't know why), but I'm sure you've since allowed me back into your life.

Do you have an ignore amnesty where everyone gets another go, and if so how often? (Fully expecting to go back onto the naughty list here for asking mind.)
I think I'm on ignore too

In a nutshell, saved me typing it. This guy owns the midfield.

I get what the Ignore button is for if that’s any consolation.
Well hopefully you press it so I don't need to read your shite posts
I think it may be sarcasm but it's actually really difficult to tell with him 😂
It is sarcasm like. Surely we've been down that road of signing players for there last pay day , but the club will sort a deal if and only if its right for the club
