Double IPA called Fatamorgana.
Apart from a few “hype beers” (chubbles, sharks need water & putty) I’ve never dared spend too much on a non stout.
Omnipollo are class stout wise, but expensive. Not sure I’d risk a non-stout at their prices.
Some of their pales are great but they're not always consistent. They do some fantastic batshit mental sours.
Sours aren’t for me like. I’m sitting firmly on the Mowsey side of the fence in that I want it to taste like beer, not pop & ket. Not had one of drink again yet.
Definitely wouldn’t be paying premium prices for one.

Haven’t seen an Almasty on tap anywhere for ages either. And I get about
Two cask offerings of theirs currently on in Mean Eyed Cat sir.
It beats my highest abv to date. An 18% Moersleutel. It was ok, but not anywhere near the best I’ve had.
Too high for me, even pre heart attack. I drink for enjoyment not to be challenged and anything above say 12-13% isnt for me.

Dove into TM for opening. FCs parkin at the moon 12.5% rum barrelled impy is most excellent.

Out tomorrow for Billy Bragg, nearest thing I think I’ll get to non-Guinness is the Camden Stout in Port of Call. Bottle of Maxim for the bus & whatever they’ve got on in the sage.

Got what needed to be done so logged off early.
If you're at The Sage you're close to the Railway Qtr. Central, Axis and Microbus all only a few mins away and all with dark beers.
Think I will get to Central tomorrow as they are having a Belgian beer weekend (with free Belgian bait).
Will be sitting on a coach most of Saturday. Was planning a stop over and the beer mile before the match, but train strikes and engineering works firmly fucked that up.
If I’m there in enough time, I might chance an Uber to Southwark brewing co before the match.
