UFO's

But is also the vastness of the universe that would make interstellar socialising highly improbable..
Absolutely... based on todays understanding of physics.

- "I can state flatly that heavier than air flying machines are impossible".
8 years later, those bastard Wright Brothers appeared with their fancy contraption.

It doesn't but the rational position is we may never know one way or the other. Believing that little gray humanoids in flying saucers are visiting earth is completely different to believing that in a galaxy of a billion suns which is itself one of billions of galaxies earth might not be the only planet on which life has evolved.
It may have evolved and become extinct a long time ago though, as others may evolve long after we have gone, we didn't even have cars 150 years ago, the universe is 14 billion years old.

Exactly why you would never take the word of Grusch one expert, no matter their standing, they can be wrong and/or misled, which is something I've told you before and you've now understood yourself. Well done.

What else do we have available?
The evidence against things like FTL travel are backed up by scientific theory
The theory of relativity dictates the joining of space and time as a single entity.
It would require infinite energy to accelerate an object past the speed of light which alone should indicate to all but the very stubborn that it would be virtually impossible for any life form to leave its local area.
Traveling faster than light would also break down the bonds in atoms, the proton would loose its electrons and you and the very ship you were trying to travel in would disintegrate into nothingness..
It's mental that people think this is anything but a pipe dream but I suppose if you've already made your mind up that aliens are here then you're not going to let science get in the way of that 😄

Who has made their mind up? I certainly haven't and won't do until I see the relevant facts. I have an opinion, that's all.
The only ones to have made their minds up seem to be those who think we are alone, and this thread always descends into shittery because of them.
Let the one's who want to share news/info & debate 'disclosure' have their fun in here. Wish someone would start a 'UFO's are all bollocks' thread, and the rest can go play in there.

They absolutely can share whatever they want and if something reputable comes up then I want to be here to see it..
Remember UFO's does not imply aliens in any way, shape or form.

Thanks for the reminder. I'll keep that in mind.
If it's 'mental that people think this is anything but a pipe dream', why are some of the most top-ranking US Senators pushing hard to implement the Schumer amendment for FY'24?

I believe that we have been visited by something of 'alien' origin whether that's from deep space or another dimension as I trust the accounts of many reputable people but proof would be great. The US military in particular are going to considerable effort to stop information coming out which indicates there is more to tell.

This is a country that covered up the truth about one of its own president's execution so silencing and keeping secrets is pretty much effortless for them.

Maybe because in the last 10 years the USA has fell behind the likes of India for Scientific research and sociatal advancements..

Early-stage defense R&D programs are facing significant budget cuts in fiscal year 2024, though Senate appropriators are seeking to boost basic research funding.

Again nothing to do with UFO's or aliens 👍

Literally EVERYTHING to do with UFO’s!

“Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) is part of a bipartisan group of senators who have offered an amendment to the annual Defense authorization bill requiring the federal government to collect and make public records related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs) and unidentified flying objects (UFOs).”

Sorry you are correct, I missed the part about Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) Disclosure Act of 2023..

"The legislation introduced as an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that will be on the Senate floor next week, would direct the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) to create a collection of records to be known as the UAP Records Collection and direct every government office to identify which records would fall into the collection. The UAP Records Collection would carry the presumption of immediate disclosure, which means that a review board would have to provide a reasoning for the documents to stay classified."

Sounds like its just an ammendment to re-sort or lable certain reports under a UAP classification and for them all to be unclassified by default..
Am I missing something else here?

Well, yeah. The backstory to why this amendment is being put forward & the people involved is all out there. Up to you if you want to dive in or not. 👍
