What is Edinburgh Castle like as a venue? If the Crystal Palce venue is that one with a big pond/lake thing in front, that's rotten.

I think I read it's pride weekend the weekend of Green day so hotels might be a bit more expensive than usual with demand

Getting my full goth on this week. Flying back to the UK for the Death Cult / (early) Cult in London next Monday and going to the Sisters of Mercy in Newcastle on Saturday while we're over

One of my mates was there and sent me some vids from the show. Looked impressive. He's been trying to get me into them for 7-8 years (the singer's mam was his kid's school teacher and she had been pushing them, I think, like a "your dad like's music, tell him about my son's band"
