I'm not sure what your last point is. It's as meaningless as me saying you are still 2 points behind us despite us losing 3 in a row and you winning 6 in a row....

My last point is that - the person I quoted was saying that we've had a generous run of fixtures , yet seeing as we've both played against (almost) the same teams, so surely Sunderland have also had a generous run of fixtures.
And yet, after a much better start than us, you're only 2 points ahead.

Exactly the reasons I left FMTTM (after 15 years). IMO this is the best messageboard there is for football and general topics (the Russia / Ukraine conflict thread alone is worth visiting the site for).
 
Good draw for Port Vale too, they will be up for it.

If we get through that it's 2 legs in semi. We would want Everton, gives us best chance of making final.

Don’t think they will be chuffed with they draw , they would have been desperate for a big club at home can’t see sky picking it which would have brought in the £

I left FMTTM when I watched them all gang up on people who had the audacity to not vote Labour..its a strange board, you have a few who think they are far superior to everyone else.
Most are very woke, left wing geography teacher types, I know quite a few Boro supporters who cast an eye over the comments now and again and just laugh at them.
I think it's a forum for the former geeky kids at school who didn't quite fit in.
