I’m you. Beforehand, I thought we would struggle to make the top four. But the results and performances have been extraordinarily bad. As things stand, no single player comes out with much credit.I didn’t fancy us to win the tournament, but never in my worst nightmares did I think it would be this much of a disaster.
That's why it's hardly suprising, I don't think we realise just how good they were in their peak scoring 400 regulary for fun and which was unheard of and hasn't really happened since.Nasser made a good point about the players. Many of the 15 players would go into an English white ball hall of fame, however none of them are currently in form, and are coming to the end of their international careers, making the central contract selections even worse.
Erratum: ‘I’m with you’. Not ‘I’m You’!I’m you. Beforehand, I thought we would struggle to make the top four. But the results and performances have been extraordinarily bad. As things stand, no single player comes out with much credit.
Dont worry, if you watch England you'll be lucky to see half that number of overs anywayJust speaking personally, but the 50 overs format is a hard watch for me now, we watch so much short format games now, it's hard to switch back up to 50 overs.
Yes fuck thatI was going to say that with the clocks going back at the weekend the India match on Sunday starts at 8.30 so make sure you get up early. But I don't think anyone will be doing that now.
Worse than Buttler's horror lead footed waft, or Stokes' hack?Just seen the wickets, Bairstow and Livingstone shots just really really bad
The whole go hard and then go harder attitude is great on hard and true pitches. Not sure how anyone thinks it can work all the time in all conditions, and this lot haven't adapted. That's why it's hardly suprising, I don't think we realise just how good they were in their peak scoring 400 regulary for fun and which was unheard of and hasn't really happened since.
Arguably the finest ODI side of all time.
Possibly not but at least Stokes was short so expect a pull, and Buttler a full ball to drive, Where Bairstow just a good back of a length ball no idea what he was trying to do with that shot.Worse than Buttler's horror lead footed waft, or Stokes' hack?
It's all round just a load of old shit.

You were wrong yeah. But you should take your share of the blame for supporting the hundred.Soo soo disappointed, it has been a truly dreadful campaign!
We were actually 11/4 second favorites for this pre tournament with the likes of South Africa 9/1 suggesting we were better side quite easily.
There is underperforming and underperforming and this has been unprecedented in the sense of the expectation of good side we thought we had.
Or at least I thought we had!!
I don’t mind admitting thought we had a great chance of winning it and could not have been more wrong.
Not sure what your point is as no other top international players from all countries are playing 50 over domestic cricket or very little of it, all the top players or most in this competition have been are playing franchise T20, but have still adapted their game to 50 overs in this competition miles better than we have. You were wrong yeah. But you should take your share of the blame for supporting the hundred.
The board probably deserve an apology
Think you should apologise, that’s allNot sure what your point is as no other top international players from all countries are playing 50 over domestic cricket or very little of it, all the top players or most are playing franchise T20, but have still adapted their game to 50 overs in this competition miles better than we have.
Unless you saying 120 balls prepares you for 50 over cricket and 100 doesn’t?
I don’t see the connection between the two as don’t see it relevant as other countries top players for example Klassen and Conway played in the hundred and have performed in this competition.Think you should apologise, that’s all
