All the times I've been in I've never noticed a smell. The beers always good which is the main thing for me. The telly's, I don't mind either. The only thing I'm not that keen on (in there) is the live music they sometimes have on as I don't think the place is suitable/big enough. Having said that I really like the place.

I've never noticed any smell either.

As you said the beers are always good there and they have a good selection.

They've scaled back on the music front and only have an acoustic act on during Saturday evenings now.

I hope thats not directed at me as I have no idea what you're on about with an agenda. I simply tell the truth. If the beer is great I'll say so, if its shit I'll say so. You can believe any reviews as I won't brush things under the carpet or blow smoke up the arses of places.

No not you mate. Someone is quite prolific on a number of threads. Also about other city centre businesses aswell. Bizarre behaviour

Ah right. I've no axe to grind but it did smell on Saturday, one of the lasses in the group wanted to leave but I'd just bought a pint. All of us bar one noticed it. Ignoring the one with an agenda a few others have mentioned it.

I'll leave it there though. I'd like to see it successful but the negatives outweigh the positives for me,others can, and have, made their own minds up.

I can't speak about Saturday as I was in Knutsford/Stoke/Halifax.

Fair enough it's all about opinions good to see the place so busy tonight though.
