Yann M'vila - target or not?

Showed against Boro when we were down to ten, no central midfield although most of that was down to Mogga going 5 at the back instead of 5 in midfield, perhaps his reasons for doing that were due to a lack of options in the centre of the park 😂😂😂

Even before Neil was carded they waltzed through our midfield. As did Blackburn when when they were aggressive against us. As did Ipswich when they countered. It’s an area of the park that needs improvement and reinforcements.

M’Vila at 75% of the level he was at 7 years ago would make him a very good player in the second tier. Obviously there’d be concerns about his match readiness but at 33 and without a massive history of serious injury you’d think he’d have plenty to offer still.

Just can't see it, feels like they are jumping on the he knarrs the owner/ex player and it's an easy link. Like to be wrong but can't see this one.

Our French midfielder

Bloody hell bet your fun at parties
No just realistic he was superb but coming up 34 has not played a game since last season. If we sign him would not be match fit until November it’s just a non starter plus how often does a player who was class when they return reach the same level.

At times we seem obsessed with resigning ex players.

When is Evan’s ever back ? Or never ?
The twelfth of never
Haven’t waded through the thread… any substantial rumours about this or just wishful thinking?
Atletico Madrid, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland are interested in signing former France midfielder Yann M'Vila, 33, who is a free agent after leaving Olympiakos at the end of last season.

Doubtful imo.

Providing a load of opinion based on nothing isn't really being realistic, just providing an opinion. Jolly fine one it is.

So those wanting him here, who would you drop?
I’d be amazed if he came here, it’s not our game plan now to sign end of career players and if he’s not fit he’d take at least 4 months to get fit.
Class player for us, but I’m one to believe never to let players come back.
It’s already been said by Speakman and the recruitment team we’ll pay fees for young players but the club isn’t adverse to signing proven players on free or a loan.

Great character and we have a lot of young French lads, in particular, who would benefit from His experience in a part of the squad we are a little weak in.

BHH
Of course not but he did well here 7yr ago so everyone thinking he’s still the same player he was then
He was playing champions league footy last year.

Wheres the other big Jan at these days?

Na, we do need a defensive midfielder. I've no idea how M'vila has been playing in recent times, but I did used to live him back in the day.
