Yann M'vila - target or not?

Yam is on a totally different (higher) level than anything on our books right now. Be an absolute dream signing. His attitude in the dressing room would be immense and the French players would be thinking “whoa, bad motherfucker let’s go….”.
Great footballer and I would have been very happy to sign him as an Evans upgrade but I genuinely think Neil, Ekwah and Jobe would be ahead of him so he’d need to accept very reasonable wages. I think Evans will go in January if he’s fit enough and wouldn’t be surprised if Embleton and Matete did too so I’d expect at least one midfielder to come in.
Ahead of him? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🙈

He’s 33 and hasn’t played for months. He was a better footballer than anyone we have currently are but it’s far from certain he still would be.

Our French midfielder
Was class but he was on 30ka week his last contract in Greece no way he’s signing here for 10k a week.

We could not even afford Forshaw who chose Norwich for more money.

Plus not sure how match fit he would be so reckon it’s a bit of click bait media story

Bloody hell bet your fun at parties

So those wanting him here, who would you drop?
I’d be amazed if he came here, it’s not our game plan now to sign end of career players and if he’s not fit he’d take at least 4 months to get fit.
Class player for us, but I’m one to believe never to let players come back.

He was playing champions league football last season man. He’s far better than them
Three currently.

No one would be dropped we’d rotate players, Bellingham can’t play every game this season or he’ll burn himself out

As it stands we only have 2 players in the squad who are holding midfielders(I’m not including Evans who probably won’t be match fit for months). I don’t want to see them flogged to death having to play every game, and then there’s injuries.
4 months to get match fit? Really?

So is there any substance to the talk of him coming back, or is this just something to fill the space left by the international break?

I'd play an inverted triangle, deepest position would choose between Yann, Neil and Pierre with the two positions infront adding Adil, Rigg and Jobe to equation and subtracting Yann. 6 for 3 positions, perfect.

No, it was just possible in the summer I think.
