I’ll hopefully be there. Mate checking his shiftsJust seen Half Man Half Biscuit are playing at the Boiler Shop..February next year.
Yes, its very good.Looking forward to this one. Chris Burns is a remarkable and subtle guitarist. The band remind me of King King with top class female vocal support. It's a long time since I was at Dingwalls too! I'm sure they have had an album out since you saw them.
Does he do the PA?Mate checking his shifts
No, he’s the singerDoes he do the PA?
Out of Slipknot? No, he’s the singer
Going boiler shop next week, let me know how good taGlenn Hughes at Rock City this weekend
What got me was Barney wearing a tshirt, "hand-signed" copies of which NO are knocking out online for £50+, and the other guitarist (Tom? Phil? Can never remember which is which) was wearing the only tour tshirt available at the merch stand (at £35 a pop). Might as well have called it the Yacht Fund tour.nowt really, just probably seen them too many times. Much better than the last time I saw them, I'm sure they were altering his voice, much stronger than usual
I just yearn for sweaty clubs and mosh pits but that was 40 years ago !
That’s easy, for me anyway.Question - in a couple of weeks on the same night, I have the choice of seeing The Damned, who I love and who I've seen, at a venue I've been to, or Supercrush, who I really like, who I've not seen, at a new-ish venue that I've not been to...oh wise SMB...?
Same ereHoward Jones and Blancmange tomorrow at the city hall.
I thought New Order were brilliant. I've seen them tons and I thought the Leeds gig was great. Leeds Arena is great as well. If you are standing you just can't get a bad view and the sound was spot on. Also, the set list was classic after classic. First time I saw them was 86 and I still find them special. My daughter hadn't seen them by before and she was blown away.I didn't not enjoy them, I just found him annoying ( looked like a Take That tribute act )... can appreciate it would be much better in a smaller venue
New Order were a bit hmmmm anarl![]()
I thought the sound was all over the place from section 104. Maybe different in different areas? Bernard's vocals were inaudible at points (no bad thing sometimes) and the bass was also periodically non-existent.I thought New Order were brilliant.
