Boro thread

How am i making stuff up - the referee viewed it exactly the same way, hence Dan Neil receiving a second yellow. It’s not the refs fault your player was stupid enough to think he’d get away with it when he was already walking a fine line. The new rules have been made very clear to everyone, and had it been a Boro player that got sent off in similar circumstances you wouldn’t have a word to say about it. Football fans are generally all the same in these circumstances i.e. their own player(s) is totally innocent, the referee is biased and a complete bastard, and all the opposition players are hatchet men who should have received 8 bookings and 2 sendings off - funny that isn’t it, no one ever complains when the ref sends off an opponents player but as soon as he sends off one your own it’s a different story. You lost the game, I’m sure you’ll get over it 😁

2 red cards is the least you should’ve been given, the evidence is there as above so it’s nothing to do with us getting a red.

Well done for winning with 12 men though, enjoy the open top bus parade.

Give over man you’ll be saying we paid the ref next 😂

It certainly should be buts its literally 50/50

Depends which side of County Durham. East of Durham City is majority Sunderland with some areas being 99% match going fans Sunderland. And that goes all the way down the coast to places that are as close to Middlesbrough as Sunderland. 'Other side of Durham is more 50/50. Durham City itself won't be far off 50/50.

Aye thats eight tbf

Durham city centre and all pf the villages the other side are halfy halfy though

Then even the likes of houghton has a lot of mags

I don't 'dish it out' though do I ?
A bit of 'banter' as you put it, is fine.
I just thought with your constant picky remarks, you were going a bit over the top, that's all.

Not as much as you lot and the conspiracy theories about yesterday though
Yes you do dish it out. You referred to my replies as bullying. You said it, not me. If I was bullying you I’d get a ban.
If you don’t like Sunderland fans replying to your weekly digs, stop your weekly digs.
I thought it was just friendly banter tbh but I won’t be bothering with you as I don’t want to be labelled a bully and I don’t want a ban.
It’s a sad state of affairs isn’t it when a boring Boro fan comes on here regularly and dishes it out then cries “ Bully” when he gets it back.
Where’s the ignore button ? Found it, you’re on ignore.

I know it's been said boatloads of times on this board but I reckon in terms of match going fans it won't be 50/50 in a lot of those places the other side of Durham.

If you drove 'round where I'm from you'd assume it was 50/50 because you have a few little bell ends whose parents never followed football and bought their bairn the shirt of the celebrity club because they're fashionable. Nobody 'round here wears a Sunderland top non match day and most wouldn't match day either. But, match day attendance is at least 95% Sunderland with the other best supported club in terms of match going fans being Hartlepool.

Peterlee is probably the best example of this. If you wandered 'round Peterlee you'd get the impression that there is more of them than us because the idiots feel the need to make a statement. But, match going fans? A different matter.

Theres loads of plastic durham mags i nar that dont and havnt went

Hardly fans but obviously arent lads fans are they

Seaham and that aswell mostly sunderland aye

Cleveland Teesside is 700k Sunderland and County Durham is like 900k. Obviously we should have a load from North Yorkshire as we are effectively the only team in Teesside and north York’s but it’s complicated most support Leeds. Football fanatism in Newcastle and Sunderland has always been stronger than Teesside sadly
the Boro supporting part of Teesside is Redcar and Cleveland, M/bro and Stockton that's about 500K. There are a few fans in Darlo but not many and in Hartlepool none, so I would take 200K of your total.

So an elbow into the face and a head butt isn’t a red card offence?
If someone deliberately elbows a player yes it’s a red. I don’t see anything in the challenge you’re talking about other than two players going up for the ball in. Players often have their arms up in ariel challenges, it’s just what happens. If there was a deliberate elbow in there then these things are normally pointed out and jumped on retrospectively. I didn’t see any head butt ? If you can point out what minute it happened and who you think it was I’ll have a look

I’m from Hartlepool. Boro don’t come into it. Mags then us no Boro.

I'm not crowing on mate, far from it.
Just making the point - whether the ref cheated or not (i personally can't see it), surely it's down to your coaching staff to rearrange the formation etc accordingly.

On the subject of getting beat - you can't be anywhere near used to being 'let down' as what our fans are.

Being completely.honest.- the way your side has been playing lately I fully expected you to win yesterday.
Fair enough and like I have said a few times I have no axe to grind with you lot.

However, I thought it was a good game of football yesterday till the cheating **** made his contribution.

they are loving their big result

Popping up on social media with an empty ground when they are 4-0 up on 94 minutes slating our fans

Honestly dont know how they dare
I just felt sorry for the two Sunderland fans who were still inside the stadium as the full-time whistle blew. Must have been a lonely place for them.

This.

What a cheating **** that referee was.

The club simply have to complain.

He should be nowhere near officiating any professional football game in this country.

His performance was beyond incompetence and should be investigated.

This one should be banned
