I asked my Boro friend this a couple of days ago and he said he doesn't think they're defensively strong enough to sit back and soak up pressure - he thinks they'd need to score 2 to take anything from the game so expects them to have a go (plus they're one of the in-form teams outside the top few, so why not)

They should. But I'm not convinced they will. Carrick is too arrogant, I think they'll come and try to give us a game.

Why not? Ask Southampton in particular or any other team who have tried it.

That carried on from "he thinks" - he's a Boro fan and hasn't watched us this season (I told him we'll do better of they do come and have a go)
 
They’re shite this season. See their game home to Cardiff? Awful. Their defence is shot to shite, no spine and limp upfront. If it ended in a draw I’d be suicidal!
 
They're canny confident all of a sudden. Some saying they have a better team than us.

Don't see it myself, but good luck to them . Clarke had an offish night the other night compared to his usual high standards. He'll destroy their full back tomorrow.
