Boro thread

We were without Forss the other night, who is a decent player at this level, and I rate our RB Djiksteel, although Carrick doesn't seem to and has preferred Tommy Smith over him.

Jones also should have started the other night. Think you could easily make a case for him being good enough to start in a Sunderland team at present.

So you have one player potentially good enough to get a start for us. 😂

Just like on Tuesday only seem to come alive once they concede

mind that jones should have been sent off
Aye, definite second yellow mate. I don’t think Boro will be in danger of relegation as they have mainly controlled the tempo of the two games I’ve watched but don’t think they’ll be bothering the top six either as simply won’t score enough goals

I know that it probably goes against the grain but I am genuinely pleased for my Middlesbrough supporting colleagues who have had a tough time of late. Apparently it should have been 3-1 as Boro missed a one-on-one when they had three men against one in the latter stages. In the words of my colleague Southampton "were $hit€ like" (we knew that anyway) but Coburn and Jones were "immense". At least they have got the monkey off their backs and finally registered a win ahead of their trip to the Stadium of Light in a fortnight's time.

Yeah 26,000 at home and rock bottom of the league, fans still turning up hoping Carrick can turn it around.

Wish we had Coburn here , looks good young prospect.

Glad Boro won. I'm enjoying seeing Southampton and Martin suffer. Their fans chat of the greatest ever Championship squad, HMS Piss The League etc seems to have died down a bit 😏
Aye Martin is annoying. In the pub I was watching our game in the camera did a gradual close up of his face almost ending up inside his nostril which really put me off him 🤢
