Russell Martin has Ross Stewart as his main target **Transfer confirmed **

If you think it's a big loss, balance it against how many games he misses due to injury not as big as it could of been and TBH it's a good bit of business
He’s has two unfortunate long term injuries. It’s not like he kept getting calf or hammys.

There’s no reason he won’t come back and be what he was before.

For how long though?

He might hit form but when does he pull up again?

The 10m will look deal of the century if he has another serious injury this season

Disagree entirely

So the model posters love is buy cheap sell big, we’ve sold a player who’s injured for 10 or 20 times what we paid for him. That’s the epitome of the model.

Not saying it’s a good deal but it sums up the model posters loved.

Posters loved the model when it was unknowns flying, they hate it now the selling part is happening.

He’s Premiership quality, never been so certain of that.
The ease with which he played, his control and reading of the game, his movement and goals and not to forget his defensive qualities.
A bit more pace and he was a top top player. Coming to the party late but his best days are yet to come.
Good luck to him, but I am full of regret for what could have been
There were times in the play off season, granted, we flogged him, he looked knackered. Just before Christmas he was poor, Doncaster gave him a lift, the end of the season, he was shagged, Cambridge gave him a lift.

His actually record in the championship is excellent. 13 games, 10 goals? If we’d have signed him for £10m I can guarantee this board would have said it’s a massive gamble.

As for Premiership quality, you might be priced right, but he’s not played enough to show he’s Championship quality yet.

Alot more than I expected like.

£10m+ is a good ending from a shit position

Same point in his contact and no injury Brereton was getting bids of 8 million.

10 million is decent business for a 27 year old championship striker with less than a year on their deal and no intention of signing another.

Obviously the debate to be had is whether or not it should have ever got to the point of him not getting/accepting a new deal.

Disagree that £10m is big for that player. Not when Simms went for a comparable fee, and Cannon was touted for similar too.

No problem with selling him at all, just don’t think the fee was near the maximum we could have obtained in this situation
He won't score 30 goals he isn't fit for another month
Oh right thanks for that foresight. Where do we finish this season? Let me know now and saves me turning up the rest of the year

You didn’t read my post.

He tore his hamstring and his Achilles in two totally different incidents. Prior to that he played pretty much every game in the promotion campaign.

Those injuries could happen to any player at any time. When fit he guarantees goals.

He was saying Stewart is a £40m player the other day mate, don't take a word he says seriously.

He’s not even that proven in the Championship.
