If this transfer does go through, then tomorrow is literally going to make or break our season.

The furore and anger if we don't get a known striker in to replace Stewart will be a lot worse than what happened in January I would presume.

I'm not going to say whether or not the next 30 hours will be a success or not because I literally have no idea what goes on behind the scenes, but this is genuinely huge for us.
 
He is an absolute crock at the minute. Probably a big risk to buy him anyway. The medical should be interesting considering he will be weeks away from 100% fitness levels

Most of all, provided easily one of my best moments as a fan, a glorious day and time. A true gent and a beautiful giant of a man.

If nothing happens before the transfer shuts regardless of stewart leaving or not, I'll put it down to incompetence or blagging the fans. Either way, I think this will be the last straw. We'll probably look back on their management of last season as pure luck rather than being clever in the market. Injuries haven't helped us but we're not the only Club
 
Hypothetical: we get 10m+, sign Cannon (or another decent replacement) and he breaks down in his first game back.

How would we all be feeling about the deal at that stage?

Theres zero chance we haven't lined someone up before selling him (Tom Cannon). We're in a position of power with this one as Southampton are desperate.
