Arfa Sleep
Striker
Not quite true, Hemir has playedNo recognised striker for 5 games = it’s ok the window hasn’t shut yet.
Selling our best striker in years because we won’t pay the going rate. = it total makes sense ffp and all that.

A few would combustImagine the uproar if we had bid 35-40 million for Livramento who had only been for for 2 games in a year.
This is bizarre because for years I was called the most negative poster on hereShock horror you’re defending the club. Clapper.

Obviously the unpopular opinion, but I’d be definitely cashing in. There’s no guarantees in football. Outside of Emile Heskey scoring his only goal in a year against us.
It is if he comes back the same and stays injury free, but there’s no guarantees he will.Stewart for 7.5m is a great deal for Southampton.
You think he's wrong?Shock horror you’re defending the club. Clapper.
My comment was towards those types who even moaned their head off because rusyn might miss 1 game after signing.Particularly as it’s impossible for any value to be attributed to any player who has had an injury.
Was just about to say thatPointless if we won’t re-invest the money though.
Can you honestly see us going out and spending £8 million on a proven direct replacement in the next 2.5 days if that is the fee and we do decide to sell? Coz that’s the reality of what we’d need to do just to tread water!
Fair point.Pointless if we won’t re-invest the money though.

We always sign injured players etc etc. Yet people want us to break our wage structure for a player whoxhas managed 14 games in a year and a Half.
The narrative changes by the hour
Fair point.
We’re mixing with the tin pots now.
We are not in the market for £8m players, we wont pay the wages which one of those would demand.Pointless if we won’t re-invest the money though.

Compare and contrast with Houghton Cut Heeds post 207There’s not a chance Ross Stewart will be a Sunderland player this time next week
We’ll get him back on loan once Southampton start paying £30m+ for foreign strikers when they are back in the PL.Stewart will see Southampton as his best chance to play in the Premiership next season. I don't think he'll sign whatever the club put infront of him.
Hopefully get as close to 10m as possible and move on.
It's the exact same postersAye that’s the thing with just cherry picking certain posts on here then playing them off against each other.
