Russell Martin has Ross Stewart as his main target **Transfer confirmed **

Does anyone actually think we’ll get another striker after rusyn id we sell stewart?

Would be beyond disappointing if not mind

The irony is that those of us concerned with the lack of investment are portrayed as negative when the opposite is true.
We recognise that this club is massive and with investment is capable of holding its own in the premier league. The clappers are happy to be "sustainable' and playing nice football in the championship for the next five years.

In January this 'negative' poster was saying we could get promoted: the 'positive' happy clappers were saying lets be happy with mid table cos we once bought Grigg and that turned out bad
Which suggests those of a negative frame of mind are the most ambitious, and want the best for the team, and those of a happy clapping view point, are the least ambitious.

Indeed, not much to conclude from that really. See what Mowbray/Speakman describe him as.

He scores 9 goals from the 'wings' (really it's left-forward).
Left-wing +
Right-wing.

versus: 4 goals in centre-forward - in the 2022/2023 season. Seems he's a left-forward.

Honesty I wouldn’t put it past them to get Rusyn in and then let Stewart go an hour or so before the end of the window try and get someone on loan fail to do so, and then do a podcast a week or so later and say well we had a go, but just couldn’t get it across the line, let’s now all get behind them and wait until next summer, And see where we are

We definitely need more in addition to Rusyn if we let Stewart go, and I think it would be poor if it's one in one out.
The planning on this one should have been done for months. Because Stewart leaving has always been the most likely scenario, so you've got to hope they've got their targets to immediately move on with the cash injection (whatever that is).
Won't really buy it if they come out with it's too late in the window etc... but wouldn't surprise me if we just get a loan in.

It's all very well and good being "ambitious" when it's not your own money you're being ambitious with I suppose
Yeah I know it’s horrific to expect premer league football, we should learn our place. 😏. Can’t ask the owner to do more, he’s already done enough we need to manage our expectations. Naughty :lol:
