Kane £103m

Hope he does, sick of this Kane saga every transfer window, must have been going on 3 years now

Shearer's record is relatively meaningless imo.

Football didn't start in 1992.

Premier League records are a useful heuristic for the "modern era", but no more than that.

The record even does Shearer a disservice as he scored goals in the old First Division on top of his Premier League goals.

It would be a bit different if he was going for Jimmy Greaves' all time record.

Correct. The sky boys love it mind
I’m honestly shocked United didn’t persevere.
They’re struggling with FFP I think. The other lad is £30m cheaper in fees and much smaller wages

True.

Mind Levy would be absolutely nuts to risk losing him for nowt next season. Spurs already struggle financially. Think he knows spurs is not the most attractive club to go to.
Funny one tho, as him leaving means there is no way they’re getting CL football. No idea what that means revenue wise, but it’s big. And also means they’ll struggle to attract new players

He deserves to win some Silver, but that means Alan Sheila will remain Prem top scorer 😩

Think I’ll send Kanes missus a bunch of flowers and tell her Germany is shite.
3 years in Germany then back to Spurs to beat Shearers record. The good thing about Kane being a bit of a boring bastard is that he's not going to hit a physical brick wall like Rooney did. If they sell and don't piss him off he'll be back to finish at Spurs
