Bid rejected for Clarke

Burnley signing andros townsend. Hopefully theyve fucked off now
Wow, I didn’t realise this goon was even still playing, he’s been around the block a few times now. A search on wiki says he’s had 13 clubs up to now, 14 if he’s gone to Burnley.

Cant see how they would flog Gray to Fulham then buy Clarke and be financially better off.
Exactly and, regardless of their financial situation, they are a Premier League club who have been there since its inception and therefore should be charged absolute top dollar. £25m or fuck off.
10M + Cannon?
£15m + Cannon minimum, I'd be asking for. With the reported up to 40% going to Tottenham, we'd still have to bring a winger in for £8m or so (bearing in mind Clarke's value was said to be £10m when we signed him)

Agreed £20M minimum should be JC value. Just harking back to this supposed £15M valuation, I. E guessing Cannon's value at £5M currently.

I hope we don't sell him.

Sky Sports is reporting that Everton and Fulham have "a verbal agreement" in place to transfer Demarai Gray but the move is on hold until a replacement is brought in. I immediately thought of Jack Clarke with Tom Cannon being used as a make weight in a possible deal.

Same here mate. Even if we did go for a deal like that, clubs would know we had money in the bank and every £3m player would suddenly be £5m+. I don't see that suiting the sustainability model at all.
We'd likely be left with a poorer player who cost more than Clarke.

That's Stewart Donald economics.
