Wrestling - Part 3


I dunno what to make of Summerslam tbh. They've teased Roman turning face leaving Solo to be the ultimate heel and I think it's happening soon.

More intrigued what they do with the RAW belt tbh. They're hard pushing Judgement Day but if I had to predict, it's gonna be a Balor win but Priest cashes it on him.

That would work for me. You can then push Balor further as he’s won a big one twice but fate screwed him over. Would be a shame to break up Judgement Day though as it’s easily the 2nd best thing in WWE.
 
Everytime I read Dalton Castle and “the boys”, it actually riles me. That video someone posted on this thread showed “the boys” to peck out of his hand like some hungry pigeons. Tapped.

Yeah, saw this. Seems like it's been in development for ages but that's probably because I want to see it so much. I've had a look at the casting and there's no Chris Von Erich listed which is odd. Might just be some child actor.

Think a lot of non-wrestling fans going to see this because of the cast are going to get quite a shock like.

If they're going in totally blind as to what this is about, yep! If it plays through the early to mid 80s (84 when David died) to 93... It'll be a bit rough to say the least

Unfortunate botch in the Rey v Escobar match. Referee gave the X sign to call it off.

Match was going at about 100 mph, Escobar does a suicide dive outside the ring and Rey bangs his head very hard. Not a serious injury but 100% a concussion protocol.

Dalton Castle is good! Always found his stuff entertaining and a he's legit wrestler iirc. About 2015/16 when he was in ROH with the Queen RIP off music he was class!

Saw this earlier. Took a right whack to the back of his head. I said earlier in this thread they may do an injury angle to get Knight in there instead but this looked legit. If it isn't that was some selling.

It was 100% legit, it was a bad bad landing.

Didn't like the writing of the bloodline stuff last night either mind. 2 weeks ago Solo wasn't allowed to hit Jey because of tribal rules but this week he's allowed to do a Spiked Spear? Inconsistent writing.

LA Knight's pops seem to be getting more wilder and louder.

Yeah, it looked rotten tbh.

I've not kept up with it for consistency tbf so I'll take your word for it. They're probably just trying to get to SS as fast as they can because it does seem like it's getting a bit paper thin now.

I hope they don't just ride off his reactions as a ''fad''. WWE has a f***ing awful habit of ignoring crowd reactions for certain folk. There's definitely room for LA Knight to be a focal point. It's rank when they insist against it. WWF/WWE used to mock WCW for ignoring things like this.
 
Only watched the NXT PPV for the Judgement Day match and Rhea's better than Chyna ever was. The pump handle slam through the table was class.

She's not even in the match and she was the best thing about it!
