Pretty sure boros academy absolutely pisses all over ours doesn’t it so I’m sure they know a thing about developing younguns

I’m pretty sure a scout regardless of remit knows a good young player when he sees one

Best pre season we had was under pdc playing in this premier league Asia thing beating spurs 3-1.
We then lost 8 of our first 9 games !
Pre season means fuck all tbh. Get fit, play some good stuff but don't go all in

We’re looking at three senior players to come in. Within the next two weeks. Carrick still wants 5 players, archer back on loan and I think we could be the team to beat

Tbf both clubs have good academy’s, us two and Southampton the best in the league

Yeah. Downing is the only player of note our academy has produced*

*Apart from, but not only:

Ben Gibson, Stuart Parnaby, Danny Graham, Adam "Fingers" Johnson. Adam Reach, Cameron Jerome, James Morrison, David Wheatear, Lee "You Might Of Heard Of Him" Cattermole, Jason Steele, Richard Smallwood, Marcus Tavernier.......plus scores more who've made a very good living from the game.

Well I don't think you had much choice but to go for it considering you were outside of the play-offs until the final game.

I could understand the logic in Carrick resting players ahead of the play-offs but unfortuantely it did probably contribute to a loss of momentum. Akpom was rested for the Luton game and didn't score another goal.
