Sheff Wed match day prices

Could we actually manage, as a fan base, to not go?
Im certain it will be a sell out with a high loyalty point needed, but what a statement it would be for the biggest team (or fan base at least) in the league to give them nowt because of their greed.
It sort of relies on the likes of us/Leeds/Leicester to take action or it wont carry much water.
I really think we should all refuse to go! Bollocks to them!
Clubs should make a stand on behalf of supporters and say they don’t want any allocation at those prices
Much as it pains me not to go, I agree with that.

We all know the answer is to boycott them, they in reality whatever allocation we get we will sell the lot. That’s the truth of it as much as it’s wrong.

As someone who goes to most away games, I'd fully support a boycott.

In fact, I'm already boycotting because I won't be paying that. Been about 10 times before so fuck it.

Unfortunately boycotts don't work in this country. You could see it happening in Germany or France but not in the UK. There is zero solidarity with anyone . Those who can afford to go will go and that's that.

I'd love the fans groups to put a statement out urging people to boycott but it would cause division in the fans, not unity. Its the modern British mindset.

Well their fans know what the answer is. Do the same thing they still absolutely rinse Hull fans for doing between 2015 and 2022. Bet they won't though because they're "great fans" of a "massive club"

Even as an owl it's hard to argue that.

Most Owls did totally understand why Hull didn't fill their allocation at Wembley and did admire the gesture, even if the banter at Wembley suggested otherwise.

Don't tar us all with the same brush.

Our owner is an idiot.

You will not find many owls who are happy with the prices. It's embarrassing.
My dad has a season ticket which is reasonable but I will refuse to pay those prices when I am back home now and again.

Hes always been an arse your owner like when it comes to pricing
He nigh on doubled the hospitality prices the year we came down to the Championship from the Premier. When questioned on it, he said he'd rather have them empty

Who would the category A games be against do you think mate? Leeds, Liecester, possibly us?

He is an absolute moron.

My guess, if there are any after the vitriol our fans have rightly shown against the pricing would be Leeds, Sunderland, Leicester and possibly Rotherham.

You deffo.even if you were bottom of the league with no points...Its based on who brings the most...got sod all to do with football.
any of you lot who think Owls fans have the slightest to do with this dogs breakfast are deluded, yea boycott the place, don't blame you, there are Owls fans going to boycott it...
We have an idiot in charge...he's deluded, he got us relegated all by himself the other year, now he expects us to be ever so grateful because we are halfway back to where we started from under his tenure.
Owls fans are scared to take a stand because they think he will walk..I hope the f.ooker ends up running...Because in all seriousness any club that can get 30k + in that bloody division we just left..ain't going anywhere
I don’t disagree mate but for a boycott to work, it really needs to be all clubs - not just us.
Needs to be US mate tbh....it really does...Ive bought my season ticket...but pick a saturday and I'll give it a miss..no problem
you either do summat about it...or stand for being milked

I remember a game at Southampton who at the time had virgin as a sponsor and they said £20s plenty .You were given an envelope with £10 back off the price of your ticket as you entered the turnstiles.
didn't we also play at west ham and everyone got a free away shirt? my memories shite but it rings a bell.

I feel sorry for real football fans like Sheffield Wednesday regarding those ticket price hikes, but my club Spurs really are an utter disgrace Daniel Levy really is one greedy little c##t.

Watching Spurs with regards to being entertained over recent seasons has often been like going to the dentist for fun, and our reward is match day ticket prices rising by up to 20% a family of 4 sitting on the sides will have to pay up to £412 to watch a single game of football this coming season which is absolute sheer madness 😡

For a family with two adults and just two children to watch a Spurs home match in the Premier League next season it will cost at its cheapest for a Category C match - remember there's only four of them - in the family stand (where only two blocks contain such tickets) £111.

That same family would pay between £141 and £162 in the south stand. However, large parts of north and south stands do not have concessions so that price rises to £236 as you would have to pay the adult rate for four tickets. In the east and west stands, where there are also no concessions available, a family of four would have to pay between £250 and £320 to watch a football match.

Again, that's only for four matches a season. The majority of Spurs' Premier League home games - ten of them - are Category B where those few family end tickets - if available - come in at £133, or instead range from £171 to £380 elsewhere around the ground.

For those families looking to watch one of the Category A matches, they will need to fork out between £193 - if they can grab the spots in those two blocks in the family stand - and anywhere up to an eye-watering £412 should they look to sit in the east or west stands.

Last season the split was five Category A games, nine Category B and five Category C. For this coming season it will be six Category A, nine Category B and just those four Category C.

Nee wonder the Blades have had bigger attendances for a while @Visiting owl @wednesday1957

Can't imagine many of Sheffields significant student population rocking up for the odd match

It's not like your watching top level sport, this isn't Haaland or KDB, it's Barry Bannan.
He is an absolute moron.

TBF that's three huge clubs there...................................and Leeds.
