Bid rejected for Clarke

I think safc would accept 10 million with add ons
I think it was reported to be a 30 percent sell on fee.
So you think that, in effect, we'll accept an offer that pockets us £6.7m for one of the Championship's top performers, who reportedly has at least three Premier League clubs after him, isn't itching for a move, is 21 years old and has 3 years left on his contract?

What are you basing that on?

£7million is a joke. Unless the extras means it roses to 15/20 then great but if not. They clearly don’t want him as much as they are letting on

I think for them to keep on bidding would indicate Clarke is open to a move away. He's probably easy, happy to stay but intrigued about a move. Don't begrudge a move to Burnley because they're building a good young side, but you could double that and I'd still feel let down.

Genuinely, you could triple it and I'd still be let down.

In this market, anything less than £20m would be bad business.

3-4 years left on his contract, English, 24 goal contributions last season, only 22 years old.

This has got to be a joke or he’s trolling...Surely?

Yes it’s Nixon and hel be ridiculed but he does get bits about us right. Those numbers quoted though - they can not be real.

We shouldn't even be even talking to them at offers of around £7m as that will just encourage Burnley to keep adding a million on and eventually getting a then unsettled player for £10m.

It should be from very start "£20m take or or leave it"

They will then dissappear for a while settling it all down and if they really want him will be back at the end of the window starting at £14m rising to even higher
