Forthcoming gigs.

Can't wait for Monday and the arctic monkeys, been getting great reviews so far. Buzzing, if I remember Boro the town centre isn't to far from the ground is it? Been 25 years since I was last banging a bird down there but remember the train station not being far from the stadium.

I’ve managed to pick up tickets last night for The Lathums at Bootleg Social in Blackpool on Saturday night after enjoying their performance in Preston last week. Seeing bands in such small venues is an absolute pleasure.

Gogol Bordello tomorrow, can't wait. Came across these guys by chance and love Eugene's mob. Something a bit different.
Saw this lot for the first time last weekend @ Bearded Theory festival. Mental live band - loved them

Third year we have been now and got to say, it's a brilliant festival - great bands, good layout, very relaxed about taking your own booze etc.......and the sun shone all weekend

Highlights for me were Snapped Ankles, Panic Shack, Warmduscher, Primal Scream.....but most of all Yard Act who were superb.

It's an easy walk. I was going to go, but then my mate in London decided he wanted to go so we are going to the Emirates on Friday instead

Just looked at the line up. Looks class. This is the type of festival that suits me @tunstallhill rather than Glastonbury mentioned on the other thread.

Play off final weekend though

I've done Glastonbury a few times too and to be honest, after the sheer ease of this type of festival i dont know if i could be arsed to ever go back? (plus it's almost impossible to get tickets these days anyway!! ;) )

We had already lined up a taxi firm and a local pub with Sky........just in case ;)

Never been to Glastonbury, the way things are going, doubt I will now. Does Bearded Theory sell out? I’d love to do something like this, but would need to rope in mates, so doubt I could leave it until the last minute.
