T20 :: Durham v Nottinghamshire - **LIVE ON SKY**

I was thinking that might be the case with the trapdoor shut and in prime view. A bit like the dafties who laughed at the SOL having empty seats in league one.

Crowd was 5-6k at a guess?

Its hard to say, it felt really full as that was closed, it was a good crowd for Durham

I am constantly frustrated we dont have more support in the area considering how many footy fans we have, for both sides, but probs not best going there

Felt like an event to me, and I really enjoyed it.

Robin Hood, Sue Pollard, The Sheriff of, Cloughie and Taylor, Harold Larwood, Carl Froch, Friar Tuck...Can you hear me Friar Tuck...your boys strolled to victory.
Scabs.
Parnell, nothing against him sure he is canny bowler but feel we really drop off towards the end, Beds is one of our best players, under performed for sure but be the way I go

So you drop a bloke we’ve just flown halfway round the world to open the bowling. Ok.

great start that
Scabs.

I wouldnt have signed him

you are so condescending like

I pay money to watch Durham home and away, have done for years, I am allowed a view that isnt even that controversial like

shock horror brandon mate, but not everyone always agrees with you

15 runs short in the end after a great night in CLS. It seems to me that the club had more on offer today than they have before e.g music, Fanzone & entertainment. However, the highlight of the night was Freddie Mercury. Everytime i see Jamie, he brings a smile to my face. Anyway, roll on Friday night, Lancs at home. We seem to have a good record at home against them.

If Glover is fit, why isnt he playing? this is why we signed him isnt it?

Just felt as though we kept at it. Notts a good side, we didn't do too badly tonight. Small steps

This. I don’t like losing any game, but the improvement we’ve seen already through three games is more than enough to keep me satisfied with how it’s going.

We weren’t far away tonight, so that’s two thumping wins against teams who’ve historically given us a chew and a close loss (atleast in terms of net run rate) to a team who are one of the favourites to win the lot.

We know exactly why we lost tonight and with a couple of minor tweaks we’d have won it.

The frustration in the long term is the weakness in the seam bowling department, but people need to realise that four homegrown seamers are unavailable due to injury and/or international call-ups (Wood, Potts, Carse, Coughlin). We’ve got a very good batting lineup, a good ‘pace off’ bowler in Raine and arguably the best spin bowling attack in the competition. If we can keep picking up points along the way and squeak top 4 we could be real challengers for the knockout cricket later on in the competition if we can get one or two of them seamers back in the side.

He made way for Parnell tonight. In a direct head to head with De Leede based on the two games both had played before tonight, BDL was in the better form. Hard to argue with the decision.

You’ve summed it as I read tonight’s game
