Forthcoming gigs.

got some freebies for Duran Duran next Sunday, not something I'd buy tickets for but think it'll be good
Saw them last night in Leeds. In one word - outstanding. A ton of hit singles that you`ll know, a couple of deep album tracks from the first record, a couple of new ones and a cover. Simon Le Bon sounded pretty impressive and John Taylor is a great bassist. A couple of hours of great Pop tunes. Come Undone was absolutely brilliantly done too. Can`t fault them at all. You`ll enjoy it.

Also, this! Martha 1st night, loads of people 2nd night. Worth it just for Withered Hand and Mouses.

Logon or register to see this image

This is looking even better now, the fabulous Wave Pictures and Slug have been added to the Saturday!

Also Toyah & Robert's Sunday Lunch at the Playhouse in October!

Only know them ones to be honest.

The first album is canny but they brought this EP out in 1981..In god we trust..i couldn’t believe it..just thrashy as owt..I remember John Peel being puzzled by the change in style..California Uber Alles is magnificent like.

Aye I'm going Friday as well. In God We Trust is probably the most hardcore punk record they released. I used to have it on vinyl at school. Was in keeping with a lot of US punk at that time, as came out in 1981 when hardcore was very much the thing. To be fair, I like the first album and early singles best. Some of their later stuff was a bit experimental
