Attendance Thread - Watford

Are we allowed to move the segregation closer to the Watford fans and sell more tickets? Or does it require consultation with police etc?
There's the 350 held back in the SW corner/South Stand as well, like. Every little helps. And I'm sure the two factions of SAFC won't start scrapping each other.

Attendance was around 46,500 the night we played Everton and Everton only brought a few hundred fans that night. So I'll go for around the same for tomorrow. Between 46,500 and 47,000

It's bad enough now when the stadiums not full, looks shite. Not the demand there at all to extend I can't believe people are suggesting to this at the present time. Maybe if we're successful for years in a row.

Aye mate. We'd have been better off with a 42,000 capacity and the ground looking full most weeks (as it stands). Given SAFC's past 60 year history of not achieving much at all, can you imagine a 60,000 ground with 35,000 in, which past history suggests will be the case, it'll look like one of those vase finals at Wembley with a few people dotted around here and there. Not only will it look awful, we won't be able to pay for it. We may have a good few years but history suggests it won't last long, unless we get a Man City type owner where money is no object to build a successful team that can sustain itself season after season.

As somebody else suggested, any spare cash floating around should be going in to buying quality players to move us on.

42k 😂😂😂

They might seem full if you sit in the South Stand but I sit at back of North Stand and it’s really visible how many empty their is in that stand.
Is that not just the kids leaving their seats to gather at the back? If you look at the back of the stand it is always overcrowded. Similar happened at West Brom - empty seats at the front but there were loads standing in the gangways at the back where I was.
