Attendance Thread - Watford

Think there were pros and cons with that. Murray said North Upper had to be done before the swimming pool was built otherwise lost opportunity forever. We were getting 41k regularly. Cost say compared to amount Reid wasted on shit like Flo a lot less and more a long term infrastructure investment.
I'm not a civil engineer marra, so would never be able to argue against that. However, if a massive sky scraper can be built in a tight space like a major city centre, then extending that stadium would surely be doable? Like I say though there's obviously people that know a lot better than I do.

Well that all depends on our position

If we:
double drop to league 1
Beat our own lowest ever prem record points total
Get promoted and spend 50p without a chance of survival

Decent prem side we absolutely would
We'd have to be challenging for stuff to fill 60k+.

Which simply isn't going to happen in reality.

We simply don't have the matchgoing fan numbers to filll it regularly.
Thankfully Sir Bob didn’t listen to you in 1995 when he was planning the SOL otherwise we would have ended up with an 18,000 stadium. We have doubled our fan base in recent years and thanks to Sir Bobs vision we can extend fairly easily if we need to. Let’s have some ambition and hope that we can in the not too distant future because it would mean the club is heading in the right direction.

Back to the thread…we have nearly sold out.

HTLs,

I'm starting to think that P24 is segregation and Watford have P26 to P36 with 1,855 sold so far with the last tickets sign on website for over a week. So you can add another 855 to total if confirmed

Watford press don't seem to think so , I reckon the original estimate will be right and there will be empty blocks.

Be very surprised if they bring nearly 2,000. They only took around 600 to hull last week and that's a shorter distance. And they still had something to play for then. Can't see them selling an extra 1200 for a nothing game up here.

Wtf. Wanted to see predicted attendance. Instead folks are talking about extending to 60000. They won't pay for a net or a screen to protect the fans we have!
Morons.
