Attendance Thread - Watford

Jesus some of you can't just offer an opinion and move on can you? We get it, some think we should exptend and others don't. I sincerely doubt it's gonna impact on or be influenced by the attendance this Satda.
Haway man, it's just reactive nonsense. We can't even agree a wage for our top scorer and talisman, yet people want to drop 50m quid on an extension we don't need.

Ridiculous

I wonder how it will effect the Watford players? Big players on a terrible run, might be just what they need to get up for a game.

Still think we'll manage a narrow victory though.
Honestly tho and I know with sunlun it's very cliché for a 'banter scoreline' to happen. Ie Stoke this season
But Watford seem just to be a bit of a toxic incompetent mess including the manager who seems to hate everyone

Aye and now it's being discussed more than the topic of the thread even tho both sides have been offered many (many) times.

I've seen a few talkins with Peter Reid now. He always accepts his failings at the end, but every time I've seen him speak he says he's still baffled to this day as to why we extended the stadium instead of investing money in the squad. It would take us becoming something like Man City to ever warrant it, it's an absolute pipe dream.

We simply don't have the matchgoing fan numbers to filll it regularly.

Think there were pros and cons with that. Murray said North Upper had to be done before the swimming pool was built otherwise lost opportunity forever. We were getting 41k regularly. Cost say compared to amount Reid wasted on shit like Flo a lot less and more a long term infrastructure investment.

As I said before. People were just getting ahead of themselves. Don't think they meant build it right now 🤣 I hope they didn't. The empty seats in the PC and north stand lower are bad enough most weeks.

How long was there between building the north upper and the swimming pool?

Felt like a decade.
