Mowbray

...and it won't be forgotten.
Yes we have no striker, Speakman is to blame for that, but we have defenders and are able to put 11 lads out on the field.

Yesterday's performance was down to tactics, preparation on the training ground and team selection. Speakman does not control those things.
That performance was unforgivable.
Mowbray has done well overall but in the last 3 or 4 games the midfield has been to easily overrun. So to put Neil in there on his own was stupid. He then brings on Michut for Geldhardt which hardly strengthened it. Yesterday was a lot down to Mowbray. He desperately needs to strengthen the midfield.

Strikers to blame for conceding 5 at home?
Yes, look at the bigger picture man.
We're struggling up top this then affects the likes of Diallo and Roberts (both bang out of form)
We're missing an experienced centre mid (this affects Dan Neils performance)
If it's not working up front and midfield this affects the defence (being put under pressure)

It's a snowball effect, centre forward is one of the most crucial positions on the pitch.

We don't have one.🤷‍♂️

It’s not one thing or person to blame.

No striker, missing our best central midfielder, poor team selection, players not showing any fight.

Yes you can, are you supporting that choice for midfield yesterday? He said he had watched Stoke and they played a high pressing physical game. Yet no O'Nien and no Ekwah, who to quote Mowbray was "unlucky" not to be included. How can he be unlucky? You pick the f***ing team
Agree he could have set up better but he's pissing against the wind without a striker.
And no I don't want the task of picking the f***ing team thanks.

KLD, Speakman and Mowbray are collectivley to blame.

KLD clearly hasnt provided enough funds to get a Striker in, Speakman therefore hasnt allocated the budget to bring in a Striker which was the most important position and Mowbrays management of yesterdays game was pathetic.
We tried to get a striker in.

5 goals conceded and I'm still putting it down to having no striker. there's just nowhere to go and the ball keeps coming back
This, it's starting to take it's toll on other areas of the pitch (just like it did last time)
People need to look at the bigger picture.

I meant Mowbray picking the team not you. He needs to stop moaning about not having a striker, I think we all know that

It was a combination of things

Poor team selection in midfield from the manager

Not 1 player had a good game today the likes of diallo Neil Clarke batth all poor

No natural striker is making it impossible ATM

Confidence is lacking a bit

We had 60 and 70 odd percent possession v Rotherham and Coventry man!
Today was hopeless, but we're not pinging balls out and under pressure all game as we can't get the ball to an outlet.

Edit 65 and 72% posession

Can’t believe people don’t see this. No striking options were always going to have a huge effect on our pattern of play.
