Mowbray

People saying Ekwah, Anderson and Gelhart etc was a good window, it wasn’t Kone, Kirchhoff etc was a good window they strengthened the team not the model.

Has Anderson even made the squad?

Mowbray deserves criticism for today, however we’ve given him three tents and then question why he hasn’t built a mansion.

I’m not his biggest fan by a long shot but who do the haters want to play up front? I heard someone today say play ONien up front, really ?????????

Alese, it's the way forward

I like Tony, seems a good bloke, loves his biscuits and is ad honest as the day is long, but after this season do you see him improving things?

Personally, I think he was brought in this season to keep things steady and keep us up. I'm not sure we move foward with him in charge next season and I wouldn't be surprised to see a new head coach at the helm for next season.

Mowbray has done a great job to a certain extent this season when Neil left the club in the shit. That doesn't mean he's the future of the club.

Give him a go marra, can’t be any worse than Gelhart was today.

That’s no slight on “Joffy” as the social media team love to call him, he’s trying a job he clearly wasn’t brought in for.

There was no model back then.

Sam brought some players in who kept us up that season...there was no planning ffs!

A f***ing terrible w

I think it's been pretty much job done this season whe the board look at it. They obviously don't look at it thro fans eyes and they're way more professional than what Donald was when he thought we desperately needed a striker in Will Grigg.

We've came up and we're safe, ask a f***ing Wigan or Ritherham fan if they'd like our spot. Some perspective is needed at times

I agree with you, he’s done what was required, which is just as well as we are going to limp over the line.

Next 4 games are brutal, we need a fresh start in the summer.

I think just getting over the line this season was always the intention, problem is we've done really well and now some fans think we should be throwing the kitchen sink at promotion when we're not ready at all. I get that will hurt some of our fans, but we're just turning into a decent Championship side. If we were to go up this season, we'd fo back down with an embarrassing bang.....we're just not ready yet.

100% THIS.

Pritchard as a central midfielder was never going to work. Dan Neil on his own..really! TM got it badly wrong today and that was obvious from the team sheet. However he doesn’t deserve sone of the comments he’s getting. He’s done a very good job upto now, and we’ve seen some wonderful football this year so let’s not forget that. He’s been given a pretty shit hand too…

He's done a good job but tbh Bruce was doing a good job before we got hammered by the mags, people could argue the same for Johnson going into Bolton away. This is a massive blot on his copy book and it will be interesting to see how we comes back from it.

But if you go up you reap the rewards of parachute payments. We could have Bournemouth, Southampton and Leeds or Everton to contend with next season.

I’d like to see Amad rested now and give Bennette game time. Ekwah and Michut in the middle could work as Dan Neil also needs a break for a few games.

...and it won't be forgotten.
Yes we have no striker, Speakman is to blame for that, but we have defenders and are able to put 11 lads out on the field.

Yesterday's performance was down to tactics, preparation on the training ground and team selection. Speakman does not control those things.
That performance was unforgivable.

You can't set a team up properly with no strikers available.

Haway man Mboma, you might crash the board with too much logic.

Jokes aside, you've hit all of the nails in the head!!

Yes Mowbray should take some blame as should the players , Absolutely no one at the club should be beyond criticism . But Mowbray on the whole has been hit by extreme bad luck ,key injuries to his first 2 names on the team sheet (Evans and Stewart) and no experienced players signed in transfer window and having to settle for a teenager to play up front .That's surely on speakman and Kld/board Jointly . If you can take the praise you have to take the criticism
