Mowbray

Well, we don't really mate. Anyway, we should not be getting humped 5-1 off 17th place, just because we have no striker. Absolute shambles today.
Sorry mate that reply wasn't meant for you...like I've said elsewhere thought his team selection was really poor today (CM)...hope he can turn it around

Ahhh here he is..... one of "I told you so" so solid crew.....Have a gold star to stick on your fridge you utter bellend!

There were huge mistakes in today's game, striker aside and thats down to Mowbray, but you keep telling me pal 😆😆

I remember you sticking your fingers in your ears when I was criticising Speakman

Well the chickens are coming home to roost as I said they would

No strikers is an embarrassment Speakman and co fucked up big time in January.
They have given Mowbray no chance

Mowbray resigning
Ditch the transfer policy of signing unproven kids and replace it with a common sense approach and blend of youth and experience
Appoint a tactically astute positive forward thinking manager
Forget about consolidation and aim high

Yes let’s totally scrap our plans after one bad result.

So why do we concede 5 goals?

Mate I don’t understand what he thinks another striker could have done today, a big stiff arse upfront and we still would have conceded at least 4 of the goals

The lack of a striker is obvious, so obvious it doesn't even need a mention, but like you say, there's problems all over the park atm and we're so easily overrun yet Tony seems reluctant to call upon anyone other than his favorites so a change in formation looks unlikely.

There is no fix until we get a striker. We were in this situation before when Stewart was injured but at least we had Simms to hold the ball up and find a way. Now we are getting turned over, midfield to weak to cope with other teams and hitting us on the counter. We'll struggle until the end of the season, might pick up a few wins along the way but can't see back to back wins to keep up with the top 6.

A striker does not just score goals. A decent one holds the ball up and stops it coming straight back at you.

Make us hard to beat. It has been far too easy for teams to play through us. We clearly need three in midfield next week. It was far too easy for Stoke today. Smallbone got into the position for the first goal at least a couple of times before they even scored. Our midfield didn’t protect our back four at all because Neil and Pritchard aren’t defensive players. We could do with someone like Jay Matete
