Really can't see how we can get through the remaining games

Especially when you’re chasing the game.

We have a French kid on the bench who’s played CL football and another who’s played in a World Cup and he brings f***ing 09 on again
He brought him on to play left back at 1-0 as our left back was injured. Aye let's bring a right winger on at left back. Idiot.

Some drama queens on here.

We have been hammered by a very average Stoke side who are still below us. How did this happen:

1 - our support made this game about 1 man - their manager, we forgot about playing football and decided to continue this silly vendetta;
2 - its been a long hard season for a very young side and it has caught up with them
3 - we have no centre forward

For the remainder of the season we should have 1 ambition IMHO - win our remaining home games. Our record, yet again, at the SOL> is very poor and if we win our last few league games at home at least we can end on a high and give back to the nigh on 40000 who have come through the gates week in and week out.

We might also be near the play offs if we did this.

All is not lost. Regroup, win our home games and see where we end up.
It wasn't made about Neil whatsoever man. There was barely any grief, it was pathetic how little there was.

Fans fault.... really leading with that?

Without a recognised striker. The club have really let mowbray and the fans down in the January window mind.

There's absolutely no options for mowbray. Gelhardt is a young kid who is never ever a forward never mind one that has to play up front on his own.

Diallo is never a number 9 and tbh has been poor for weeks. Clarke isnt good enough to play up there either.

I fear the rest of this season is going to be a hard slog but thankfully we've got enough points in the bag to stay up as we will pick up a few more points along the way.

I've went from enjoying this season to not looking forward to the remaining games
There were plenty on here at the time saying we desperately need to sign strikers and we got plenty stick including you if I remember right.

No one is taking any delight in saying so but not getting a couple of decent strikers in has ruined our season.
Stick O9 on as center forward: what have we got to lose?
We have nothing to losose why not.

Won’t be saying that come April imo be flapping like the level headed lads after 0 wins in March

Hull a massive game

It’s very sad, as we had a top 4 squad with Stewart fit. The inability to sign a striker is beyond incompetent and someone needs to be held to account for it. Absolutely destroyed our season.
Seems like they didn't want a shot at promotion. The wheels have well and truly fell off

The striker situation is clearly a problem, but do we have to play so open all the time?

A few have called for CM to be strengthened with an extra man in there, especially after 2 straight defeats with Roberts and Amad (to a certain extent) not at their total best in recent games. To me, you need Clarke, Roberts and Amad all on their game for that formation to work and when it doesn't, it creates problems for the two behind them and then the defence in turn.

Feels we' try to be too clever and overplay for the sake of it. We need to get back to some solid basics in my opinion. Maybe put all the flashy shit on the back-burner until we've become a more solid unit again.

We're a Charlie Wyke away from the Play Offs, unfortunately we'll finish bottom half/mid table. I'd have taken it before the season started mind.

Lesson learned hopefully. Sign another class center forward in the Summer and hopefully keep our better players and we try again.

How are we going to be stronger next season? We’ll lose our loan players and it’s clear we’re not intent on spending proper money on transfer fees.

None of the players brought in during January are good enough to start and effect games for us, so we have confidence we can suddenly pull some rabbits out of the transfer hat in the summer ?

Next season could be a long hard slog, we may look back at the majority of this season as being the halcyon days!
