Investment in the stadium

It will if it's not repaired soon. That's exposed steel in what is classed as a high exposure marine environment.
Didn’t we start repainting parts of it last summer? Hopefully it’s a planned maintenance all the way around for upcoming summers

Supposedly big plans for all the plots there. Businesses have been told they have a couple of years to move on
A lot of money being spent in Sunderland now, not before time mind you, when the arseholes created tyne & Wear Sunderland was forgotten.
The college have acquired it. It's going to be a new construction academy.
I hope they have been in touch with Network Rail, they need permission to build next to the Railway.

This is internal in the east and north I've noticed it, not an easy job to get to
They were on the north stand roof last summer, possibly fixing an external issue to protect the internals. Just a guess like. Hopefully we are going to protect it as the replacement is a lot more expensive

The steels internally are exposed, for a guess the paint flaking off the support steels is intumescent for fire protection. The internal sheets is a protective coating to protect the steel from the elements.

Either way it needs attention sooner rather than later in my opinion but I've only been involved in sheeting and cladding for 30 years so I'm sure it's fine and can wait
