Forthcoming gigs.

I saw them at Lafayette in London the following night. Chrissie's vocals are pretty much the same and the band has a brutal energy which clearly inspires her. James Walbourne on guitar lives every beat of the music and is a fantastic guitarist. I last saw The Pretenders 39 years ago, Tuesday was better. Going to see His Lordship, guitar, bass and drums of Pretenders line up, at the same venue in April.
Kris Sonne on drums is great too. He was VERY restrained on Monday as it`s not his show but he`s a lot more animated with His Lordship. I saw them last year and loved them and will be going again in April. Walbourne is class too.

Actually, one of the lads couldn’t make Ferocious Dog last night, I put it back up for sale on Dice & it got bought. This has possibly been a thing for ages, but first time we’ve used it. The amount of spare tickets we’ve had over the years would have paid a mortgage off.
Cannot wait for young fathers. New album is fantastic. Managed to get peat n diesel tickets. Also going to see Steve Hillage 😀 one of the first gigs I ever went to back in mid 70s.
This year has been fantastic already. My gig going has never been better.
Who says there is no new music? Old people

Ended up booking a night in York when we couldn’t get Peat & Diesel tickets. Sure I’d have got in if I did go like.

Fourth time seeing them and FINALLY got to see Fear Satan. Thought I'd fucked it again and then at the last minute possible they delivered. Genuinely owa the moon
Mogwai Fear Satan was great. My favourite last night was Christmas Steps. The beginning where it builds then explodes gave me the biggest rush. Not experienced anything like that at a gig in years.

Second time seeing them for me. Blown away by the quality of performance. Not as deafening as at Northumbria Uni last time, but that actually was a bonus as there is some real beauty in the subtle parts.

Fear Satan utterly incredible. Shame Ceiling Granny didn't get an airing as they've played it every other gig on the tour.

Cracking night at Mogwai, was hoping on rano pano but looking at setlists leading up to it I know I had no chance haha

The part where Mogwai Fear Satan comes out of that extended quiet part into a wall of noise is probably my favourite moment of any live gig. Last time I saw them, someone near us who clearly wasn't expecting it fell over. Saw a tweet from Stuart B from when they were sound-checking at Leeds and the sound on stage pushed his pedalboard forward a metre :).

Great gig, seems like they're mixing it up on every night and throwing lesser played tracks in too.

Wasn't too sure about Brainiac, though - some good bits but it all got a bit lost at times.
