First half is canny. Then…

Yep, they could have cut about 15 minutes of faffing about, and the nonsense stuff of her friend, then used that to allow time for the rescue effort. It was like the writers got as far as working out the way of delivering the text message and then ran dry.

And the no signal thing had me like… huh?!?

I said to our lass “aren’t mobile masts always at the highest point?”

Watched a sci fi Korean flick on Netflix, Jung_E. A big back story was set-up and hardly used, this turned out to be more of a human story. Despite that it was fine and didn't overstay its welcome.

Turned oTE]

Turned off after 30 minutes, not for Me. Acting was atrocious

I saw The Fablemans last night. A bit patchy, in my view. The acting is great all round (particularly from Michelle Williams) and I enjoyed the quiet period detail. But the film is too long and is a bit shapeless at times.
My favourite film of late is Bunch of Amateurs, a sensitive and funny documentary about a long standing Bradford cine club.
I enjoyed 'Yesterday'. Busker wakes up one day to find The Beatles never existed.
Set in the charmingly weird Gorleston-on-Sea in Norfolk.

Cate Blanchett is the highly regarded conductor who’s past begins to catch up with her. It’s fantastic. 8.5/10

I found it baffling, like banshees of inisherin it asks so many unanswered questions I’m left thinking wtf was that all about!? Blanchett is excellent, but overall it was a miss for me. At least banshees had Jenny the Donkey.

Some very good articles on the internet explaining and theorising. Enjoyed it personally.

Plane...basically plane goes down in jungle and passengers get taken hostage by guerrillas. Captain and one of passengers go to rescue them. Not a bad movie with a bit of action and plane scenes quite good. 7/10

The Business, 2005 filum with Danny Dyer.
Gets shite reviews but watched it last night with a few beers, switched my brain off and quite enjoyed it. Dyer isn't that bad in it tbh and the soundtrack is cracking. 7/10 but knock at least a couple off if you're sober.
