Interesting to think about the good performers we had in that time - even in some of the poorer iterations of the team. Didn’t even get to the likes of Thome or Varga - albeit their impact was shorter lived.
 
Love that he went for Rae as the standout centre midfielder from his time in r&w though. Given the standard of player in that area during that period, that’s some indication of quite how good Alex was for us.
