Hartlepool United

Massive result for them after losing to Gillingham last week.

Be a huge blow to the town if Pools got relegated again.

Baltic cold, amazed the match went ahead, such a good effort. We were diabolical first half, negative tactics and fortunate to go in 0-0. Sending off changed the game. Win is a win

Son asked me to grab him a ticket, was there after pitch inspection 1 took place. As it hasnt got above 2 degrees all day id written it off!

Important win. Listened to it on the radio and sounded like they played well, obviously sending off helped, although on radio they said it was harsh, having seen footage since, it looks conclusive to me. Line up today for a change looked somewhat balanced , the old heads of Hartley and Dolan can only help their cause, though they'll encounter more difficult days than today, starting at Carlisle on Tuesday.

Not exactly, it was definitely dangerous play, just harsh in the sense, that they didn't think their player meant to assault the Pools player, just that he dawdled and or underestimated the distance between himself and the ball/opponent, then suddenly realised he'd misjudged it, therefore panicked and tried to make amends. desperately attempting to retrieve the situation I suppose, resulting in the high feet.

Fair do. It was right in front of me, clear red card and it changed the game as I thought Pools were poor first half. Just glad to win, dragging others into it now

Sounded like 4 or 5 players had really solid games, which makes a change, Dodds, Umerah, Hamilton, Grey , Brentford loanee ...
