The point at issue with Gabbiadini on this (ironically) pretty poor, slow moving programme is that Marco clearly has an arrogant streak and looks down his nose at fans who have been the temerity to have an opinion that differs to his own. Furthermore, he comments on matches he has not seen, he has no ‘feel’ for how fans are generally feeling about issues concerning the club and said little as we suffered successive relegations.
He’s a poor, bused, uninformed pundit who sits in a studio in bloody York for heavens sake. Easy money for lazy opinions.

Ross Stewart is probably too good for us. Well, I don’t know because that makes it sound like we are undeserving but, when he leaves he will go to a football club that is currently higher up the pyramid than what we are.

It’s a difficult square to circle for some to say, “he could play in the premier league” on here then for a former player to say it publicly they are some kind of traitor

What I’m saying in a roundabout way that clearly misses your superior intelligence on this matter is that it’s beyond Marco to say much that’s positive about SAFC.
 
Absolute legend who only dares to voice his honest opinion, amazing how many people get upset by this.

I think most of us would agree Stewart is a cut above the standard SAFC currently play at. Yet somehow Marco is an evil man for saying it.
 
He said he’s to good for this club at the moment for the limits where we’re at. Which is correct if we’re not gonna offer him the going rate for a top championship Striker. I still think Marco is a berk on total sport some of the shite over the years has been unbelievable especially when he would back shite managers when it was clearly done like parky and Grayson.

Also, he’s completely wrong.
Stewart has played 12 games in the championship. If he’d done shite, everyone would be saying he needs more time.

I said exactly the same thing to my Mag mates about Bruno and not one of them agreed with me, they all to a man spouted "aye but we're going to be....blah blah", my point was if Madrid or Barcelona came knocking now, there's a chance he could have his head turned by the prestige of playing for one the Spanish giants, it's no secret that all the South Americans harbour ambitions of ending up at either of those 2 at some point.

Marco is right, but his method of delivery is all wrong

This, I f***ing love Stewart and I hope he goes on to have a great top flight career but haway man he's played 3/4 of half a season at this level, he's exactly where he should be at this stage of his development.

I agree with that but also he comes across as uneducated and kinda bullish in his delivery (which will please some people and alienate others). Just seems like he’s on a good number when perhaps other ex players are more deserving of the opportunity. Those that can be arsed to go to the games for starters, should get a look in prior to him.

As a player great as a pundit I’m still waiting to hear anything he says that’s positive about safc. I think you might be one of those gravy stained mags we need to get removed from here.
