Violent Night. Santa the hero in Die Hard/Home Alone mash up.some great deaths which were laugh out loud. 8/10. One massively wince inducing scene on a ladder which then became funny. No spoilers for those who haven't seenit yet.
Just watched this . Appalling isn’t a strong enough word for me . Trash entertainment at its worst.

Glass Onion - 2/10. Thought the first Knives Out movie was OK but this was garbage. Shite plot, cliched and nowhere near as clever as it thought it was. The whodunnit genre will always struggle to offer anything new as its been done to death (pun intended).

The Fablemans - 8/10. Enjoyed this story telling of Steven Spielberg's childhood and how he became infatuated with film making at such a young age. Some great performances from the cast and it felt like one of those old movies that wasn't trying to do things at a million miles an hour but still held your attention. Probably not for those that want blood and guts and all that shite! 😂

This is tipped to win the Oscar for best film. It is firmly on my list. Cheers for the review.

Glass onion - thought it was better than the first one, not as clever as it thought it was and the plot twists aren’t that twisty. 6.5/10

Just watched White Noise on Netflix. Was ok, enjoyed it without really getting it. Pretty sure there's a message in there.. like taking the piss at how we react to everything. Maybe I'm not intelligent enough to understand it haha. Ill give it a 6 but might be higher if its explained to me a little x

Avatar 2 - After sitting through the first one prior to Christmas, as my lads wanted to go see 2 over Christmas, I wasn't overly looking forward. This was proved right, apart from the wow factor of the cgi/graphics or whatever they do, there isn't anything else. A 3 hour film that could have been wrapped up in less than 2 hours, by the end, I wanted every single one of them to go down with the ship and the thing to be over and done with. 4/10

Just watched Ambulance. Beautifully presented, a bit silly at times but all in all a cracking 2 hours of non stop action. I need a cup of tea after watching it.

Liked Avatar 2, not as good as the first but a decent (if overlong) movie but only if you liked the first one. 6.5

Would recommend Barbarian (2022) to any horror fans. A bit of dark humour, some interesting characters and a backstory that takes some time to come out but for someone who generally dislikes horrors this one is good. 7.5
