Attendance Thread - Blackburn Rovers

See that just backs up a point I have

Whenever an attendance is questioned its just excuse after excuse

If Newcastle or Boro etc had a crowd like that on a Monday this place would be up in arms ready to slate it

Boro would never get a ‘crowd’ like that.

The mags have had plenty of crap attendances over the years.

What is it with you?
For a club which has won one trophy in the last 85 years. Has suffered about a dozen relegations in the last 64 years including 4 seasons recently in the third tier to be getting these gates is astonishing.
What’s your fuckin problem?
I just can't work out if he's ultra analytical or always a massive glass half empty type. Either way he's missing out on the feel good vibe.

Becsuse we have a fickle fanbase that can turn awful on its players etc and don't like it when they get called out on it and praise themselves for turning up but sit in absolute silence

The only ones who believe we have the best fans are Sunderland.

Have they though really or are you going to go on about Newcastle attendances from over 30 years ago ?

the tickets were sold though. season ticket holders just decided not turn up for some reason

Victim how exactly?
Have I responded in the way some have to myself. No

Monday vs West Brom was shocking, I’ve already found out we aren’t allowed to talk about it! Boxing Day attendance is brilliant like be great if we could keep attendances above 40k even if it’s a bit cold.

When would Boro get an increase due to minus 5?

We also have a tendency to mock other clubs crowds whilst in the past few seasons we've had part of our stadium closed as well as less than 8000 for FA Cup ties

Could also mention we can barely sell 26000 tickets for a Home semi against the likes of Man Utd but then all of a sudden everyone becomes a 'fan' when Wembley tickets are on sale
Go and fuck your self mate
Again just backs up what I say

Can't handle an opinion and resort to being the "toxic" fans so many have labelled us

Nearly a sell out last season against sheff wed for a league 1 playoff man

I mean I don't doubt you're a Sunderland supporter and follow us all over, but christ you're a miserable git on here and clearly knew you'd get a response like that. Sure you're a ray of sunshine in 'real life' 😉
I would have thought “ Mag “ but others obv know him and say he does go home and away ( pleased if true he’s not in the zimmerframe corner near us as it’s a positive section of the ground )

That many relegations? Christ, I have witnessed every one.

Mags had less in a prem game against Southampton before the takeover than will be at the sol on Monday. Sunderland had the highest attendance in the north east in 87/88 season despite us beeb in the 3rd division and mags been in 1st. No one can question our loyalty over the years it’s insane really given the lack of success

And catchment area -we are hugely well followed

Newcastle lowest point in the last 30 years was the first relegation, the one where they didn’t spend an absolutely huge amount of money. Their first crowd of the season was 37000.

Where were they all during the season Then?
We had great crowds that very very few would match in division 1( after 4 seasons )
Insane it was
