Formally sinatra mate. I don't need anything cheers mate. As long as the Griffiths Suite at the Hilton isn't booked up I'm happy.

I was referring to the songs you used to write and then post. We haven't had one for a while.
Ah frankey mate how you doing? Long time no speak hope you’re doing well

Gave up the songs mate too much stick, one poster even wanted my address

I miss the pink seats, I’d like to see them return
Give it 5 years and the current ones will be pink again.

People on about expanding the concourses are in cuckoo land mind it would cost millions

The logical solution would be fenced off outdoor areas that people can go out to if they wish like most other clubs do. Allows the dirty smerkers out for a terb anarl.

Also very easy to come out with comments like that on a footy message board 👍

Indeed. But are you suggesting that some very basic stadium upkeep is beyond the realms of possibility and achievability over the course of nearly two years since KLD entered the scene?

I’m not talking about extending the stadium to 60k here. Cleaning, tidying it and the surrounding area up and ensuring basic amenities work inside the ground aren’t long term projects. With the will, desire, care and investment they could probably be sorted out within a fortnight.

Maybe it would cost a few quid to sort out the concourses, but at the moment when we have crowds like on boxing day it's probably borderline unsafe.
They'll need to start looking at opening the access gates and having a fenced off area outside, so it eases the crowd congestion.
Remember something similar at Derby County away and it worked fine.
@Guinness Guzzler any thoughts ?

no the owners keep the club going..it loses money evrry year which they put in. when you say sunderland isnt the wealthiest area in the UK im sure you are rught..but aere you saying they arent any middle class people? Not in durham, a university city?
SAFC attendances are amazing..the next step is to grow the yield per attender..that is..get each attending fan to spend more..thats how you grow and progress and become a successful club, not the shit show of the past decade
If you want current fanbase to spend more you have to tailor the experience to them. We're not doing enough in this area. The owners don't keep club going! They simply make day to day decisions, they're custodians of the club. Any club Is nothing without its supporters, ellis forgot this to his cost.

so thats whay safc revenue is lower than it might be..its not enticing the middle class supporters in the way the successful clubs are...
of course the enhnaced supporter experience increases revenue..thats my point...enhance the experience and the middle class will come and increase revenue
You’re honestly absolutely clueless. He has clearly said now it’s the “normal” fan areas where they have taken off the bits that made it feel Sunderland and replaced it with stuff like ice bar etc. Firstly this will in no way attract middle class fans and would also be impossible to have more middle class than working class fans so why make those areas for the middle class. Clue is they haven’t they have just made it generic nonsense

Been watching the lads for 50 years plus
Anyone complaining about the Sol needs to get a grip.
Walk in -beer -seat -enjoy
I’m 60 ish !this is bad ?
We are really getting soft as yer kna what -the modern way
( fower nor five tin hats) !
No tin hat needed, you are absolutely correct.
Times have changed tho, and it’s good to have some pride in our home ground which does need a little TLC here and there.

Hand dryers haven't worked in the North Stand loos for ages, and there's been a leak in the roof for as long as I can remember. Does have the feel it's been neglected.
Apparently the carpets towards the Montgomery suite are worn and scruffy too, so it seems like it needs a complete overhaul.
I reported to a steward at the WBA game , that one of the hand driers in the loos I use in SW corner was broken first game of the season and still is .
when ypu say it adds nothing..are the bars there now..charging more for alcohol than the previous ones?
If so, they may be adding money,..and i have heard that can be used to buy things...
football is a middle class game now..thats why posh boys want to own clubs
What’s all this “ middle class “ BS ? How do you define middle class ,? Before retiring I owned a business employing 25 people . Live in a nice village etc etc. Am working class. My son now owns the business , plus he has 2 other companies and he has a property portfolio of approaching 30 houses/ apartments. He is working class. My daughter had a law degree and has a good job working for a prestigious university , she is working class. We have friends who are very well off who frequent the concourse and others who have seats in BCB and boxes. They are all , working class. My doctor is a ST holder at the sol , sits in west stand , considers himself and is proud to be “ working class “ .
Regarding the bars and prices in concourse , very reasonable compared to other PL standard stadiums.

This “class” debate is really not the issue and a little distasteful tbh.
I’m sure the vast majority of attending supporters would like better food and beer offering and be more comfortable in the concourses.

Unfortunately there is only what’s on offer and therefore it sells,
so there is no incentive to improve. It’s a viscous circle.

Some of our fans don't even use the bins man...have you seen the amount of shite swirling round the pitch on a match day.

I'm sure things will improve, less than 2 year is a relatively short time to get things sorted both on and off the pitch, but I do know that someone our fans need to have a moan at something, it's part of life know to have find something to have a go at the club for.
